Gun Violence Forum to Be Held Tonight

The Board of Rabbis of Southern California will hold a community forum tonight on gun violence, featuring several prominent public officials.
A listing in The Times on Saturday gave an incorrect date for the event, which will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Valley Beth Shalom, 15739 Ventura Blvd., Encino.
The forum comes in the wake of the August shooting rampage at the North Valley Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills, which has prompted many officials to push for a ban on assault weapons and Saturday night specials.
