Inspection of apartment buildings in the Tina Pacific complex for city and state code compliance began this week. At last week’s City Council meeting, owners of apartment buildings in the Tina Pacific complex had asked, but were denied, an extension on the City Council’s mandate that they upgrade their buildings and bring them into compliance.
City Manager Terry Matz said that once owners have done their part, the city intends to help beautify and upgrade the area by using money from a county block grant program.
