You know things weren’t right at College of the Canyons when five players attempted passes by halftime.
In the Loyola-Hart game, three Hart players had thrown passes to five receivers.
Loyola’s punter was forced to make a shovel pass after an errant snap late in the second quarter. The play went for 14 yards and a first down.
It was one of only four completions in 12 passes for the Cubs, who trailed, 14-7, at halftime.
