It Doesn’t Ad Up

I miss the advertising in the Food section. The tie-ins were extremely helpful. The food ads were the only ads that I ever read in the whole paper. For example, if you had a great asparagus recipe and Vons or Ralphs or Lucky was advertising asparagus, I’d buy it. Otherwise I would merely assume that asparagus was out of season and not bother looking for it. Now the food ads come in the afternoon mail. They often get thrown away before I get a chance to look at them.
