For parents who need a break, the Recreation and Community Services Department is offering “Kids Night Out, Parents Night Off.”
Parents may drop off children, ages 5 to 12, at the Community Center, 10911 Oak St., to participate in a pizza party, crafts and indoor games and to watch movies.
Registration is $12 for each child, $8 for each additional child in the same family. The program will be offered from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. today, Oct. 22, Nov. 12 and 19, and Dec. 3 and 10. For each night out, parents must register their children by the preceding Thursday.
