Royal 27, Agoura 30--Sophomore Erin Weesner ran second and the Highlanders (4-1, 3-1) upset the No. 4-ranked Chargers in a Marmonte League meet at Agoura.
Royal was without defending Ventura County champion Jaclyn Pedersen, who has a stress fracture in her left leg.
Laura Jakosky of Agoura, defending Southern Section Division II champion, remained unbeaten this season, covering the three-mile course in 18:29.
Weesner followed in 19:25.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
La Reina 9, St. Bonaventure 9--Jacki Chou and Anita Ellias won two tiebreakers at No. 2 doubles and the Regents (8-4, 5-0) claimed a Tri-Valley League match on games, 76-72, at Camino Real Park.
Chou and Ellias defeated Lauren Schreiner and Nikki Woodard, 7-6 (8-6), and defeated Catherine McVerry and Megan Molinski, 7-6 (7-4).
Alyssa Halcomb swept at No. 1 singles for St. Bonaventure (10-3, 3-2).
