Grace Brethren 48, Viewpoint 36--With Viewpoint leading, 36-34, in the fourth quarter, Tyson Larson scored two touchdowns to put Grace Brethren ahead for good in the Heritage League game at Calabasas High.

Larson had touchdown runs of 11 and eight yards in the fourth quarter, and also scored on runs of nine and six yards. Grace Brethren (7-0, 4-0) benefited from fumble recoveries returned 40 and 55 yards for touchdowns by Steve McClain.

Sherwin Shilati rushed for 170 yards in 32 carries for Viewpoint (5-1, 3-1).

Faith Baptist 57, South Bay Lutheran 6--Lonnie Clayton rushed for a touchdown, caught a pass for another score and also returned an interception for a touchdown as Faith Baptist (7-0, 4-0) won a Heritage League game at Torrance High.

Westmark 40, Trinity Lutheran 16--Keven Brooks rushed 12 times for 120 yards and three touchdowns and Mubarrak Hasan had 52 yards and one score in eight carries for Westmark (2-3, 1-0) in an Omega League opener at Grant High.

Antelope Valley Christian 72, La Verne Calvary Baptist 48--Kenneth Williams rushed for four touchdowns and Orlando Flanagan returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score as the Eagles (2-4-1) won a nonleague game at Calvary Baptist.
