Franklin Telecom in Westlake Village has arranged an equity line of credit for up to $6.5 million with Crescent International Ltd.
Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Franklin’s Internet products are currently centered around the Tempest System, which includes Data Voice Gateways, an integrated tracking, authentication and billing system.
Data Voice Gateways is designed to facilitate phone-to-phone and computer-to-phone connectivity for voice, data and fax.
Franklin has announced that it will release two new products: Breeze and Typhoon.
“With both the Breeze and Typhoon products scheduled to begin shipping before the end of the calendar year, this is a time of significant expansion for Franklin,” President Peter Buswell said. “This equity line of credit will help ensure that we can complete the necessary ramp-up and bring these new products to market on schedule.”
Franklin Telecom designs and manufactures communications devices, including hardware and software products.
