Poly 19, L.A. Wilson 0--David Valencia rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries for host Poly.
Valencia went 37 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, then extended Poly’s lead to 12-0 with a four-yard run with 7:44 to play.
Zachary Jones of Poly (1-1) scored from one yard with 12 seconds to complete an 13-play, 81-yard drive that was highlighted by Valencia’s 46-yard run.
Wilson (0-2) was held to six yards rushing and 160 passing. Poly’s Alex Diaz had two interceptions.
