The City Council could vote to take the final steps toward making the city Y2K compliant today. About 12 computers at City Hall must be upgraded and the city’s server must be replaced, staff reports said.
The city also needs to increase the number of servers in use to prevent a systemwide crash, staff reports said. The city included $71,100 for upgrades and hardware in this year’s budget.
The council meets at 7 tonight at City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive.
