After Tuesday night’s Villa Park Elementary School Restoration Corp. meeting, Teri Elmendorf said that fund-raising efforts to save the old school building are well underway.
Artist Judy Schroeder spoke to the group about the watercolor she is painting of the building. The watercolor will be raffled off when it is finished, with proceeds benefiting the group’s efforts. Elmendorf also said the last nine spaces out of about 40 are still available for corporate or personal sponsorship on the Game of Villa Park, modeled after Monopoly. Information: (714) 997-9288.
