VENTURA COUNTY ROUNDUP : Ojai : Weekend Boy Scout Outing Planned

Boy Scout Troop 103 is sponsoring a hiking, biking and boating competition for all Boy Scouts over 13 and their families Saturday and Sunday.
The event begins with a hike at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Gridley Canyon Trailhead and continues to Pratt Trailhead, where teams of four will pick up bicycles. The teams will ride bikes down the Ojai bike path to Foster Park, where all groups will spend the night.
On Sunday, teams will ride the remainder of the bike path to the Ventura Marina, where they will pick up canoes and navigate a course within the marina.
The cost is $60 per team and includes dinner, breakfast and prizes. For more information, call Dan Holmes at 643-1086.
