Keadle, a junior outside linebacker, had four sacks of Long Beach Millikan quarterback Tom McDougal and six other
tackles, one of
them for a loss, to lead the Huntington Beach High de
fense in its 7-6 victory over the Rams. The victory gave Huntington Beach a 3-0 record. Millikan had scored 27 and 48 points in its previous two games this season.

Katella, Football
Jeffrey ran for 284 yards in 26 carries Friday night to lead Katella in its victory over Orange.
* Justin Rice
Cypress, Football
Rice completed 16 of 23 passes for 269 yards in Cypress’ victory over Buena Park.
Nicole Scott
Woodbridge, Cross-country
Scott won the 5,000-meter race Saturday in the Greensboro, N.C., Invitational high school
cross-country championships. Her winning time was 19 minutes 27 sec
onds. Her performance
helped Woodbridge capture the team championship in the 24-team meet with 41 points to 82 for second-place Mt. Woods, Va.

Los Alamitos, Golf
Oliver, a freshman, has been a combined five over par in her last three matches for Los Alamitos.
* Joanna Kao
Sunny Hills, Tennis
Kao, a sophomore, is 15-0, including a victory over Corona del Mar’s No. 1 player, Nadia Vaughan.
