Artists to Discuss Themes During Show

Five artists will discuss their work centered on themes of childhood, family, marriage, romance, life and death Saturday during a talk about “Ties That Bind,” a new exhibition at Huntington Beach Art Center.
The show has been prepared by the center’s new curator, Darlene D. DeAngelo, and focuses on pieces created with fiber, including paper, fabric and synthetic hair. The featured artists are Castillo, Matt Driggs, Robin Jankowski, Janice Ledgerwood and Christine J. Morla.
The talk will be from 3 to 6 p.m. The show continues through Sept. 10 at Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St. (714) 374-1650.
