Now that Charlton Heston has been through alcohol rehab (Morning Report, Aug. 1), and he is to be congratulated for that, maybe he’ll consider taking a shot at dropping his NRA affiliation.

Ever since Charlton Heston became the president of the NRA, I have wondered why he allowed his name to be used by that organization to advance its agenda.
I think I’ve gotten my answer--he must have been drunk when he signed on.
