DARE Officer Named for Schools

The Sheriff’s Department has appointed Deputy Jeffery Manory as its new DARE officer for fifth-grade students.
Manory has spent five years as a patrol officer in Moorpark. He also has worked at the Ventura County Main Jail and is a graduate of the Los Angeles Police Department’s DARE training school.
Manory will be working at Flory, Mountain Meadows and Walnut Canyon elementary schools in September.
