Right now I see the Clippers as a pit stop for young talent. How many players actually go to the Clippers, find their game, and want to stay? The front office should put a sign on its door: “Welcome to the NBA Training Program.”

I know it’s too late, but shouldn’t the Clippers have at least talked to Michael Cooper, who is doing a great job with the Sparks and is part of L.A. basketball tradition, before hiring Alvin Gentry?
