Regency Theatres Leases Movie House in Oxnard

Regency Theatres has leased the 30,000-square-foot movie theater at Carriage Square Shopping Center in Oxnard.
Terms of the multiyear lease of the facility at 101 W. Gonzales Road were not disclosed. Martin V. Smith & Associates owns the theater.
Regency, which is relocating from The Esplanade mall in Oxnard, will operate a five-screen theater showing independent, foreign and other first-run films. Regency also has theaters in Camarillo and Westlake Village.
The relocation was due to the closing of The Esplanade, which will be razed and replaced with a new shopping center.
