Marines Ground 3 Kinds of Copters

From Times Wire Reports

The Marine Corps has halted flights of three kinds of aircraft for safety inspections due to unrelated problems in each type. The MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotors were grounded after one made a precautionary landing last week in North Carolina. In April, an MV-22 crashed in Arizona, killing 19 Marines. All 165 CH-53 transport helicopters were grounded based on preliminary undisclosed findings of a Navy crash earlier this month in Texas. And flights of AH-1W Cobra copters were halted because some rotor blades might be susceptible to cracking.
