The survey by Manpower Inc. of Milwaukee said 3% of the companies foresee cuts, 50% anticipate no changes and 7% are undecided.
For the fourth quarter of 1999, 26% of Valley employers surveyed said they planned to increase staff and 5% said they would trim their payrolls.
The survey predicts local openings in construction, manufacturing, transportation and public utilities, trade, education, services and public administration.
