Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Laguna Niguel woman Saturday night after she allegedly stabbed a man to death in an apartment, authorities said.
The 47-year-old suspect was arrested inside the apartment in the 30000 block of Street of the Golden Lantern, said sheriff’s Lt. Larry Abbott.
Paramedics were summoned to the Laguna Serranos Apartments about 8:30 p.m. and contacted sheriff’s deputies when they found the victim with a single stab wound to the chest, Abbott said. The 34-year-old victim was pronounced dead at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center about 9:15 p.m., he said.
Officials did not release the names of the victim and suspect nor say whether they lived at the complex.
