The decision to appoint an advisory committee to review existing surfing and windsurfing regulations was put on hold by the City Council at the Dec. 27 meeting. At issue is the matter of surfers and windsurfers vying for use of the San Gabriel River mouth area--a prime location for both. No date was set for the item to be placed on the agenda again.
