Agran for Mayor? Say It Ain’t So!

Larry Agran for mayor? You’ve got to be kidding! Isn’t this the same Larry Agran who was arrested [for protesting exclusion from a debate] during his presidential campaign a few years ago and made Irvine the laughingstock of the nation?
Looks like Agran’s up to his same old tricks. He supported the Millennium Plan and Measure F, but now that Measure F has passed he is proposing “The Great Park” for all of the former El Toro Marine base.
“The Great Park” would provide few jobs and little economic output and would permanently remove the 4,700 acres from potential inclusion in the tax rolls.
