Restaurants Closed by Health Agency

The following Ventura County restaurants were closed recently after unsanitary conditions were identified by county Environmental Health Division inspectors:
It’s Greek To Me, 2661 Saviers Road, Oxnard; rodent infestation, unsanitary conditions; closed Thursday and no reopen date posted.
Jack-In-The-Box, 11044 Citrus Drive, Ventura; sewage overflowing within the facility, no toilets available; closed Monday and reopened same day.
Los Molcajetes Restaurant, 124 E. 5th St., Oxnard; significant cockroach infestation, unsanitary conditions; closed June 6 and no reopen date posted.
Moorpark Central Market, 50 Poindexter Ave., Moorpark; rodent and fly infestation; closed June 5 and reopened June 8.

Restaurants are permitted to reopen when the problems cited are corrected. For questions or to report a complaint, call the Environmental Health Department at 654-2813 or (800) 660-5474. The switchboard operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
