City officials approved the purchase of two new police motorcycles and four pursuit cars.
“Our vehicles rack up a lot of miles,” said Police Chief Dennis Kies. “These new vehicles aren’t an addition to our fleet nor are they more advanced, they’ll simply replace other motorcycles and cars.”
The council approved purchasing the six vehicles for a total of $112,200, city officials said.
