City officials will walk to Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School this morning to discover why it’s one of the most dangerous pedestrian routes in the area. The Orange County Safe Kids Coalition and other community groups will assess the paths children are advised to follow on South Graham Lane. The information will be used for “Walk the Way,” a pedestrian safety program in April. The school was one of three in the country chosen to participate in the program because of the high rate of collisions reported at intersections and in residential areas around the school. Information: (714) 352-8680.
