Wisconsin did hold Michigan State 16 points below its scoring average, but its constant Badgering didn’t bother Spartan forward Morris Peterson, who averaged 17 points and six rebounds.

* What to expect: In the 1985 NCAA championship game, Villanova--like Wisconsin a No. 8-seeded team--shot down Patrick Ewing and Georgetown--like Michigan State a No. 1 seeded team--in one of sports’ monumental upsets. Villanova made 78.6% of its shots, and for another supernova to burst on the scene, Wisconsin would have to improve its shooting 36%.
