Man Fatally Shoots Daughter, 5, and Himself

VALINDA — A Valinda man apparently distraught over a child custody dispute shot and killed his 5-year-old daughter early Monday morning and then committed suicide, authorities said.
Ruben Uribe, 40, and his daughter Priscilla were found by relatives Monday inside a home in the 1300 block of Evanwood Avenue, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
