Mayor Tom Daly at Tuesday’s City Council meeting asked to be given more time to review a $256,200 increase for the Convention Center expansion. The project is expected to cost up to $177 million and is expected to be completed by December. The council was scheduled to vote Tuesday on the increase, which would go to Turner Construction Co. for managing the project. Daly said he wanted to understand the need for the increase and asked to delay a council vote until April 11.
