The City Council on Tuesday approved a development agreement for a 35,000-square-foot banquet and meeting-room facility at the Hyatt Alicante Hotel complex. For the construction of the banquet hall and a previously approved conversion of an office building to an all-suites hotel, developers have agreed to put $200,000 toward the city’s Harbor Boulevard improvement project.
