REDDING--Redding Rodeo Week begins May 15 with Kids’ Day at the rodeo grounds (9 a.m.-noon, free) and continues with a street dance down Market Street (8-11 p.m., free) May 17. Other activities include a pancake breakfast 5-10 a.m. May 19 ($3) and a parade at 10 a.m. May 20. KING CITY--4-H members will be out in force May 18-21 at the Salinas Valley Fair. Festivities include a carnival, rodeo (May 21 only, 9 a.m., free) and entertainment. ANGELS CAMP--Watch out for leaping frogs as you make your way to the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee, May 18-21. Activities include a children’s parade, livestock competitions, art exhibits, a rodeo, carnival rides, frog-jumping contests, concerts and fireworks.
