Officials with the Ventura County coroner’s office are trying to locate relatives of Karl Ceasare Wager, 59, who died last weekend in Oxnard.
Wager died at St. John’s Medical Center on Saturday, said James Baroni, a deputy medical examiner.
The cause of death was pneumonia or cancer, Baroni said.
Wager recently had been living at the Wagon Wheel Motel in Oxnard. His last job was as a technician for American Blue Sky, an Ojai-based technology firm.
Wager also had lived at Los Arbolitos Apartments in Oxnard.
If his body remains unclaimed, Wager’s remains will be cremated, Baroni said.
Anyone with any information should call the coroner’s office at 641-4400.
