Oxnard 51, Rio Mesa 6--Oxnard rolled up 471 yards offense at Rio Mesa.

Tim Eglin passed for 156 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown for Oxnard (3-6, 2-1). Jason Parker rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns and had five receptions for 127 yards.

Oxnard held Rio Mesa (1-8, 0-3) to 140 yards.

Parker ran 36 yards for a score and ran for the two-point conversion in the first quarter to give Oxnard 8-0 lead. The Yellowjackets extended the lead to 16-0 on a one-yard run by Eglin and another conversion run by Parker.

Parker had a 53-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and caught a 63-yard scoring pass from Eglin in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring.

Rio Mesa scored on its first possession of the third quarter on a four-yard touchdown run by Chris Davis. Lionel Carrizales completed a 51-yard pass play to Anthony Mastas to sustain the drive.
