University to Host Special Olympics

Ventura County Special Olympics will hold its sixth annual soccer tournament from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on Cal Lutheran University’s north campus. The school is at 60 W. Olsen Road.
About 100 Special Olympics athletes from Ventura, Los Angeles, Kern and Santa Barbara counties will compete. Students from the Cal Lutheran’s soccer program and kinesiology department will officiate and hand out awards.
