Economic reports due this week

* Today, the National Assn. of Realtors will release its August report of sales of previously owned homes. They fell 9.8% in July.
* Tuesday, the Conference Board will issue its consumer confidence index for September. The index stood at 141.1 in August.
* Wednesday, the Commerce Department will report on factory orders for durable goods for August. They fell 12.4% in July.
* Thursday, the Commerce Department will issue revised figures on second-quarter economic growth. Its initial estimate was at 5.3% annual rate.
* Friday, the Commerce Department will report on Americans’ personal income and spending for August. Incomes rose 0.3% in July, and spending rose 0.6%.
