College course--A story Tuesday incorrectly reported that a basic computer and office training course to be offered at Ventura College next month is federally funded. In fact, the course is being funded by the California Community Colleges chancellor’s office.
Classes begin Jan. 7.
Students in the “Customer Service Academy” will receive help finding jobs and meet several local employers.
People affiliated with the Workforce Investment Act and the Department of Rehabilitation are encouraged to attend.
