I enjoyed your Weekend Escape at Los Alamos (“Lassoed Into Los Alamos”) in the Nov. 25 Travel section. We recently visited there.
You missed telling people about one of the nicest locations in the village. The Quackenbush Art Gallery and Restaurant is a wonderful place to spend time. The old building has been made into a great art gallery. Many of the paintings show the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves gourmet soups, sandwiches and desserts for a reasonable price.
