SEASON AT A GLANCE: The 6-foot-4 Brown leads local City Section players with a 32.7 scoring average, including games of 53 points against Fresno Edison and 44 against Verdugo Hills. He attended Taft as a sophomore before transferring to Canoga Park last season.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Brown scored 17 points to help the Hunters upset Sunset Six League favorite North Hollywood, 62-59. He scored 51 points in an 88-78 victory over Hollywood, making 14 of 17 free throws. The victories pulled Canoga Park into a three-way tie for first place in the Sunset Six with Grant and North Hollywood.
