Auditions Scheduled for ‘Nutcracker’ Ballet

Channel Islands Ballet will begin community auditions on Sunday for its annual holiday production of “The Nutcracker.”
Pre-professional and trainee-level dancers, ages 6 to 18, will be joined by professional artists in staging the Tchaikovsky ballet in December. Dancers need to provide a head-shot photograph and resume. Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., depending on age, at Cal State Channel Islands.
