* * Electric Light Orchestra, “Zoom,” Epic. “If you’ve found what you’re looking for, it really doesn’t matter at all,” sings Jeff Lynne on his largely one-man revival of ELO after 15 years. Perhaps he anticipated criticism that he’s merely, if expertly, re-creating the formula--the Beatles-infatuated melodies and harmonies, the sinewy cello and slide guitar trademarks. For fans only looking for the same old sounds, “Zoom” is a four-star effort. For everyone else, it’s fairly pointless. *
