Bitter Fruit

Thanks for explaining why most fruit has so little taste these days (“Tasteless Cherries, Big Bucks,” June 13). I had no idea. I look forward to June and those lovely, sweet Bing cherries. Will there be enough of the sweet Bings for Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream? I sense a crisis in the making here.
