Coroner’s investigators have determined that the human bones found Saturday at a remote site in Lancaster are those of a male, authorities said.
The bones were discovered in a shallow grave in the desert near 90th Street West and Avenue L.
The man has yet to be identified, and no belongings were found with the remains, coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said.
“We still have to do X-rays and call in an anthropologist to look at him,” he said.
