But the top-seeded Anteaters would like to strengthen their position for a possible NCAA bid should they falter at the Big West Conference tournament, which begins next Thursday. Idaho, which lost, 65-61, to Irvine on Jan. 11, is competing against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (3-12) and Cal State Fullerton (3-13) for the final two tournament berths.
