Where Have You Been?

Kids, we asked about the places you have visited recently. Students in Terri Chun’s English class at Eforie Nord Middle School in Romania tell us about places they have been to in their country.

I’ve been to the Bucharest zoo with my parents. I saw an old, old stag. He had huge horns. I saw swans. They were so soft and white that I imagined that they were like fairies dancing on a lake.

I was at Slanic Moldova in Bacau in northeast Romania. We went into the salt mine by bus from Targu Ocna, another town. I was there for the salt mines because it is good for your health and I am sick. The salt mine was dark and cold. There was a swing and a slide there. It was beautiful.

I visited the aquarium in Constanta. There I saw three beautiful dolphins. They were very playful. People who worked there had the duty to train them. One of the employees told me that dolphins are very intelligent, even more than humans.
