Man Stabbed, Critically Injured in Burbank Fight

BURBANK — A Burbank man was stabbed several times during a fight Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
Curt Burns, 37, was in critical condition at a local hospital, Burbank Police Sgt. Eric Rosoff said.
Richard Savola was booked on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the stabbing at Burbank Boulevard and Mariposa Street about 7:20 p.m., Rosoff said. Savola, a 29-year-old Burbank resident, was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Burbank Superior Court today, Rosoff said.
Burns and Savola had been arguing in a residence before they began fighting outside, police said.
