Seminar to Discuss New Tax Breaks on Export Sales
- Share via
Details of a new federal law allowing U.S. exporters to shave at least 15% off income tax assessed on export sales top the agenda at a two-hour seminar Thursday sponsored by the World Trade Center Assn. The FSC Repeal and Extraterritorial Income Exclusion Act of 2000 provides tax breaks on all export sales, including those to Canada and Mexico, and extends eligibility to “C” and “S” corporations, partnerships and individuals. Sponsored by the Western Growers Assn., the event will include a panel discussion on the new tax law, featuring analysis and explanation from exporters and accountants. The program will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at USC’s Davidson Conference Center in Los Angeles. Call (213) 680-1888 for more information.
