SEASON AT A GLANCE: Amoo, who has signed with Arizona State, has run 10.63 in the 100 meters, 20.82 in the 200 and long jumped 22-4 1/2 with a wind-aided best of 23-3 1/4.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Amoo won the 100 in 10.63 and the 200 in 20.82 on Saturday to win the Division I races of the Southern Section divisional championships at Cerritos College in Norwalk. He also ran on a third-place 400 relay team that clocked 42.36 and finished eighth in the long jump with a wind-aided 21-11. Amoo’s 100 time moved him into a tie for ninth on the all-time region list. The 200 time was the fastest in the state this year and moved him to second on the all-time region list.

Sierra Hauser-Price

SEASON AT A GLANCE: Hauser-Price, who will attend Michigan on a basketball-track scholarship, has run 11.73 in the 100 meters and 24.11 in the 200.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Hauser-Price ran 11.73 in the 100 and 24.11 in the 200 on Saturday to win her third consecutive Division III titles in the Southern Section divisional championships at Cerritos College in Norwalk. She also ran on teams that won the 1,600 relay in 3:54.87 and placed second in the 400 relay in 48.04. Her time in the 100 moved her to seventh on the all-time region list and her clocking in the 200 was only .12 seconds off her career best. Hauser-Price is one of only two sprinters--Marion Jones is the other--to win three or four consecutive titles in the 100 and 200 in the section championships.
