Police were searching for three masked men who held up a Huntington Beach bank Wednesday and fled with an unknown amount of money.
No one was injured during the 10:23 a.m. robbery at the Bank of America in the 7700 block of Edinger Street, said Huntington Beach Police Lt. Bill Peterson.
Two men wearing ski masks and toting pillowcases jumped the bank counter and ordered the tellers and customers not to move, Peterson said.
After the tellers stuffed money into pillowcases, the robbers fled to a waiting gray 1989 Jeep Cherokee driven by a third masked man. The stolen car was found abandoned behind the Huntington Beach mall, police said.
Huntington Beach police and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
