Motorist Killed When Car Hits Overpass Pillar

An Anaheim woman died early Saturday morning when she lost control of her car and it struck a concrete pillar on the Corona del Mar Freeway, authorities said.
Susan McCauley, 31, who sustained major head and internal injuries, was pronounced dead at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, the California Highway Patrol reported.
McCauley was driving about 12:30 a.m. when her car swerved across the freeway and struck a pillar beneath the Bristol Street overpass, the CHP reported.
