Fund-Raiser Planned for Maritime Museum

The Ventura County Maritime Museum will hold its annual fund-raising auction Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Bahia Cabrillo Yacht Club in Channel Islands Harbor.
There will be original works and limited-edition prints by noted maritime artists and photographers such as John Stobart, Sally Miller, Jackie Cavish, Mel Roads, Michele Weis, Donna Clark and Enid Leventhal. Maritime items such as model ships will also be auctioned.
The event supports the museum’s operations and educational programs.
The public is invited. Tickets cost $15, which includes hors d’oeuvres.
The yacht club is at 4200 Harbor Blvd. in Channel Islands Harbor. A silent auction begins at 3 p.m., followed by the live auction at 4 p.m.
